HAA Curing Polyester Resin
Polyester resin curing with HAA (β-hydroxyalkylamide) curing system is an environmentally friendly polyester powder coating curing technology widely used in outdoor weather-resistant coatings. This system is an important alternative to TGIC (triglycidyl isocyanurate) system, especially suitable for markets with stricter environmental requirements.
✅ Environmentally friendly and safe: does not contain TGIC, is non-allergenic, and is more in line with environmental regulations (such as RoHS, REACH).
✅ Excellent weather resistance: can be used for outdoor applications, with good UV resistance and aging resistance.
✅ Good mechanical properties: has good adhesion, impact resistance and flexibility.
✅ Excellent chemical resistance: has good tolerance to acids, alkalis, solvents and moisture.
✅ Lower curing temperature: generally cured in the range of 180°C-200°C, which can reduce energy consumption.
⛔ The leveling property is slightly inferior to the TGIC system: the HAA system is prone to slight orange peel phenomenon, and the formula needs to be optimized to adjust the leveling agent.
